The way i saw "Bhag Milkha Bhag"

Not every Non-Rajni sir movie will ignite such a extreme desire in me to watch it.. But " Bhag Milkha Bhag " was one such movie totally out of the Non-Rajni sir movie league .It all started when me and my awesomely talented writer friend Keerthana went to watch Talaash movie . Well if i am not wrong, this is somewhere during the first week of December 2012.. The theatrical trailer of BMB was first shown during this movie..                                    HuH!! I had not been a great fan of Farhan Akhtar till then. I was sure anyone would
turn a fan of his after watching that trailer.. I usually like biopics and love to read and watch about Inspiring personalities.. And of all the movie was about Flying Sikh MILKHA SINGH!! Thanks for my wisdom(International monthly magazine) reading habit in school.. I was introduced to these personalities way back in school..But what pissed me off  & the thing which made me say "what the f#@*" was the announcement "The story unfolds on July 12".. ie had to wait for 7 months for release ,which is same as
waiting period of a maruti swift after u book the car!!
In this 7 months , watched couple of movies & plays.. Watched the trailer umpteen times.. Waited for the music release ..Kept checking the websites to find the BMB music.. Finally the wait was over.. it was July 10th wen i booked the paid premiere show ticket for July 11th ie the day before the actual release of the movie. I had to wait for close to 24 hours.. That excitement was thrilling.. Told everyone on the earth possible that "I am going for the premiere show of BMB movie".That pride !! Yes fullu levellu..
Left office early to go to the movie . It was an eccentric feeling when i reached Gopalan cinemas Bannergatta road! Had read the review before i went to watch the movie in DNA India.. It had rated 5 stars!! Started calling friends express my happiness to watch the movie.. Yes i get really excited to watch a play or movie which i was waiting for really long.
Movie Time!!! OMG it was for 188 mins!!! Yes a real lengthy movie..
I felt like leaving my bike in the mall and run back to home after the movie.. Bhag Achuth Bhag.. To decimate my tummy i am in need of running. So thats my inspiration to run.. Coming to movie: I would rate 4 stars. Duration of the movie is a turn off..The show started at 940 pm and the moment i came out
it was 1:10 am next day.. Only person to watch out for is Farhan Akhtar.. Treat to watch him. Fabulous, Fantabulous . He has pulled it off brilliantly. The way he has toned his body really deserves a bow..
There were scenes which are absolutely not needed to the biopic. Eg:Sonam Kapoor's entire episode was rubbish even though she was looking extremely cute !! One night stand in melbourne was "Shiva poojeyalli karadi" aka "Kabab mein haddi " ..Had those 2 parts were chucked from the movie, movie would have been exceptional and received 5 stars from every single reviewer.. But agreed on part that, if Farhan akhtar was not a part of movie, Movie would have been a big thopu[Flop].At the end of movie respect towards MilkhaSingh just quadrapled for me I am sure about others as well!!
The next day when I kept reading the reviews from every possible website , i was totally confounded !! Extremely contradicting reviews. Rating ranged from 2.5 stars to 4 stars.. Thats ok, As i always believe, one's music may be other's noise.. So cant impose on every one to like it.. July has been keeping me really happy.. From best friend Poo getting engaged to getting good movies & Plays to watch..

PS: Dont dare to miss the movie, Its not a movie worth missing it..

A tale of chappal loosing its master on a monday morning !!

A proven point today i am not as callous as my near and dear do think of me!I am too emotional and have a tender heart...
It was a mundane monday and i was waiting for bus in  by-pass of national highway to come to bangalore from kolar. Thats really a tradition where my dad drops me to the bus and he shall wait till i get the bus. Yes too much of pampered kid I am. Due to Elections which was conducted the previous day, buses were over crowded and I was waiting for a bus which would have some seats to sit.

At around 730 am ,there came a milk tanker which wanted to take the service road. He slowed down and was about to turn to service road. A two wheeler from no where came into picture who also took the same service road. In less than a second or 2 , I could hear the sound of bike skidding obliquely which was too harsh and scary to hear, i just saw 2 ppl on bike fall which was not really scary but the scariest part was milk tanker running over them !! Oh @#$%!! I just closed my eyes so tight and held my dad's shoulder so tight that i just wanted not to see the tyres running on those guys heads. @#$% again.. But actually it did. I just broke down !! Speechless!! The entire incident happened right in front of me and I was not even 10 meters away! My initial suspect was both the guys would have lost their lives .. My dad consoled me so much and told me to get back home and take rest .. I was so afraid, nervous, empathetic, sympathetic !! Its the first time ever someone taking their last breath in front of me.. and that too in a terrible way. I just wanted to get away from the place.. Yes i was scared.. Lot of ppl surrounded the two immobilized bodies lying on the road..I had no guts to see that horrifying scene. As i was back to senses, I immediately called Ambulance . Thankfully someone had called before me !! Luckily 1 guy has survived, not sure abt his condition though now.Hope he recovers soon. God bless him. And that other guy RIP :(
This incident shook me so much today, that i couldnt even see a dead dog on the highway.. There is a stark contrast between hearing about an accident, witnessing an accident and actually be a part of accident.Being less fortunate as of today, experienced all three..Accidents are so scary and fearsome..If there is any word which means "Accidento-phobia" , i would be a victim of it..Yes life is so precious. A second or two of ignorance could cost one's life !! Unless you are an atheist , there is no harm in praying before u actually hit roads.. It works to a major extent i feel..
After a couple of hours when i passed by the same place, everything was back to normal except for a pair of chappals which were lying on the place of accident !! DOT

9*11 Lip smacking Dosas

Hang on! 9*11 is supposed to be read as 9 into 11[9x11 = 99].. Not 9-11. I wanted to warn you before u start breaking your heads to relate between a South Indian Dish  "Dosa" and most horrendous terrorist attack of last decade.
Being Born and raised in typical South Indian "Brahmin" hard core vegetarian family, my cravings for ghee, butter , rice , curd , pickle are super eternal.. Just cant get rid of it i say.. and my futile trials of 6-packing starts off  inadvertently if i happen to look at my budding tummy ;) . Having said that, I was not a great fan of eating road-side food! I am a guy who shows-off saying Its "Unhygenic".
Coming to Dosa, I always thought there were only 2 places where dosas were ultimate in Bengaluru.. Vidyarthi Bhavan in Gandhi Bazaar and CTR in  Malleshwaram.Little did i know that my belief would be proven false!!  But On one " auspicious day "[Sorry I dont remember the date. .] my roomie bubly took me to a road-side dosa shop located in heart of koramangala also called "Aunty Dosa shop". He gave a description saying there were 99 Varieties of dosas available there.. To be honest , i was like , wat crap because my life was contented with dosas like MasalaDosa, Podi Dosa, Set Dosa, , Ragi Dosa, Rava Dosa, etc etc..

What made me see stars/universe like Yashodha saw in Kiddo Krishna's mouth was the way the owner of the shop , a lady started telling the Dosa varieties their menu comprised off! I was like "ha-theri".. The name of dosas she kept telling was like a sanskrit verse chanting by a priest in a temple for me!! Awestruck..Panner Dosa, Cheese Dosa, Mysore masala, Babycorn Dosa, Noodles dosa,Chilli Dosa .... U name it ! Here is the snapshot of the menu card i took .

Well describing the dosas, the batter they use, tawas they use are quite peculiar or atleast i havent seen like those. Reason might be also, that the darshinis in blore we go have that big rectangular tawas!. Batter they use for all dosas are same. but wat they stuff in dosas makes the dosa of its type .. Best part is they serve too hot dosas !! Wow.. One can carry even a burnol with them for safety ;)

Having so many varieties of dosa including Pav-Bhaji dosa, is the reason why this place is such a crowded place. I can see lot of North Indian people too ordering dosas., What puts a big grin on my face is wen they order a dosa,  "Aunty Ek masala dosa "  not masala dhosa as we south indians say it.. Anyhow south indians are fond of idli-dosas.. So they just unite india in one place which most of the hotels fail to do.. They have a token system too on weekends or on any day if the no of customers are too many.

After visiting the place recurrently , whenever my cook takes an off , I  was more curious about the details how and when it started off, Then tried asking the owner about the history of the place.. she could take hardly two minutes of her time and tell that it started off about 4 years ago and also they have the same menu from 4 years ! But she was upset that there are more than 99 duplicate dosa shops named 99 varieties of dosa in blore alone. Sad part is they have a duplicate shop just 100 mts away ! Which lures people with a digital display , LED lights .Well i think duplicating is something very rampant and u can do nothing abt it unless they Patent their shop name. !!

But I dont recommend this place to people who count calories(1,2,3......n) in the food . Sorry guys, lot of  cheese, butter, gheee, aloo,. Everything u hate to be in food will be present there.. However no harm in trying  and starving for next 2 days ;).

Well if u wanna  hog some dosas , then please do visit this place. Timings not sure.. Generally Evenings.. I would be more than glad if you call me too :P

Location : Diagonally Opposite bajaj showroom, Ganesha temple road , 8th block Kormangala Near to Police station Koramangala.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Not the fake dosa shop right in front of bajaj showroom which has a digital display of list of dosas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
